Update regarding the Coronavirus/ COVID-19 outbreak

In response to the Prime Minister’s statement yesterday evening (23rd March 2020), the team at Security and Electronic Solutions Ltd. are implementing a few temporary changes to our working practices to enable us to provide as much support as possible to our customers during this challenging time.
We are dedicated to helping our customers secure their premises and homes during these challenging times and beyond.
Most of our office-based staff have already transferred to working from home; using secure systems and processes to support our mobile workforce and continue normal business operations as much as possible.
Currently, there are no restrictions in place to prevent our mobile workforce from travelling to customers’ premises and homes for surveys, repairs and maintenance work to ensure your site’s security is fully operational at all times, although we must insist customers observe social-distancing and hygiene guidelines when a member of our team is working at your premises.
We have advised all staff, especially our engineering team to:

Maintain at least 2 metres’ distance from customers and members of the public at all times.

Wash hands regularly with soap or use hand sanitiser, particularly upon arrival and when departing site.

Wipe down frequently touched objects such as security access points (door entry buttons, handles, keypads etc. and similar surfaces after use.
Many modern security systems can be controlled and reviewed remotely; from wherever suits the user best. We would encourage our customers to make full use of this if your system already has the ability, and consider upgrading existing systems which currently do not. Additionally, many security systems can be upgraded to use a contactless interface, such as facial recognition, QR code readers and hands-free exit buttons.

In light of the Coronavirus/COVID-19 outbreak, Security and Electronic Solutions Ltd. would like to reassure all customers that we are monitoring the situation closely.
There are currently no restrictions in place which affect our ability to provide the same high standard of service that our customers expect from us. Installation and maintenance of SAES’s systems is currently unaffected.
We are taking all appropriate precautions; our company infrastructure enables our team to remain fully operational and support customers remotely, as required. Should the situation change, we will react accordingly and notify those who may be affected while doing our utmost to minimise disruption.
