Case Study

Client name: Beauty Bank
Location: Aylesford, Kent
Installation type: CCTV system

Client requirement:
Design a CCTV system that can help with lone working monitoring, unattended tills and general security.

During busy times all of the staff may be working in private treatment rooms giving the appearance that no-one is in the reception area. As a precaution cameras were fitted above the tills and waiting areas with the staff having the ability to view these from the treatment rooms.

SAES Ltd. were asked to consider how we could design and install a security solution that would be cost effective and flexible for the first of many Beauty Bank salons.

The challenge:

  • Design and install a cost-effective CCTV system.

  • Staff working in treatment rooms were often unable to view the reception area.

  • Sometimes only one staff member is present on premises.

The solution:

  • CCTV cameras installed above tills and waiting areas.

  • Displays in treatment rooms enable staff to monitor reception area.

  • Smartphone app; enabling business owner to view live and recorded CCTV footage from anywhere; monitoring staff activity, welfare and that lone-working procedures are upheld.

Our conclusion:

Following consultation, an internet and smartphone-accessible CCTV system was installed to meet the customer’s requirements.

In the event that staff rotas fall with only one member of staff on the premises, chain owner Nicola is now able to view the CCTV from her smartphone or PC anywhere in the world on a regular basis to ensure staff welfare and onsite which backs up the lone worker procedures in place for the business.

“The guys at SAES were able to come up with a great solution that gives us a flexible security system with built in features and easy access for peace of mind.”
